Born into a family with a Hindu father and a Muslim mother, Jaya made the courageous decision to follow Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. That choice brought rejection and hardship, but it also ignited a calling to serve the vulnerable. In February 2022, he founded True Joy Global Foundation, sharing the Gospel on the streets while meeting practical needs. When he encountered two orphaned children with nowhere to go, he welcomed them into his home. What began with two soon grew — by God’s grace — into True Joy Orphanage.

Today, 15 precious children call True Joy home. Coming from backgrounds of poverty, abandonment, and brokenness, they now experience safety, nutritious food, loving care, education, and — most importantly — the transforming love of Jesus Christ. The orphanage started in a rented building in Mangalagiri and has grown into a permanent half-acre property in Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh, where the children laugh, learn, pray, and dream of a brighter future.

But a new challenge has arisen. As India’s educational policies evolve (including elements of the NEP 2020), many government schools now incorporate Hindu religious teachings and practices that conflict with the Christian faith we are nurturing in these young hearts. Our children — who have already endured so much loss — face daily pressure and confusion when they leave the orphanage for school.

We believe God is calling us to do more. We are prayerfully pursuing a Christ-centered school on a 7-acre property that has become available. This land will serve as the future home for a quality Christian school where orphaned and underprivileged children can receive excellent academics in mathematics, science, language, and history — all grounded in biblical truth, values of compassion, integrity, and the love of Jesus.

This school will be more than classrooms. Our long-term vision includes:

• A Christ-centered curriculum that shapes hearts and minds for God’s Kingdom
• Vocational training programs with ongoing mentorship to prepare teens for meaningful careers
• Expanded facilities for the orphanage, including sustainable infrastructure
• Opportunities for child sponsorship (with regular updates and relationship-building)
• Future pathways for legal adoption where appropriate
